No one does New Year quite like China. With bright, bold colors, incredibly lively celebrations and feasts worthy of royalty, it’s no wonder the rest of the world can’t help but watch in wonder. Here in the U.S., there are many parades and celebrations to get into the spirit of the New Year, but unless you’re spending the CNY in a city like LA or New York, you’re not likely to run into any giant dragons or parades in the street. But if you’re in Scottsdale, you’ll definitely want to drop by Ling & Louie’s to try out their limited time Lucky Libations and Feast of Fortune menus!
Limited Time Chinese New Year Menu
If you’re on the hunt for the perfect Chinese New Year menu to celebrate, you’re in luck. February 1st through February 11th, Ling & Louie’s in Scottsdale, Chandler and Boise* are featuring the Feast of Fortune and Lucky Libations menus which showcase traditional dishes with an original Ling & Louie’s take.
Among some of the delicious menu items to look forward to in the Feast of Fortune menu are their Dan Dan Noodles, Crispy Asian Sea Bass Wonton Soup and Steamed Dumplings, all using traditional ingredients symbolic of the health, wealth and prosperity in the New Year.
Ling & Louie’s has also put together a specialty cocktail menu crafted by their own in-house mixologist. Each of the concoctions is an ode to one of the lucky ingredients thought to bring friendship, prosperity, wealth and togetherness in the New Year. Among some of the fruity cocktails featured for a limited time only are the Perennial Peach, Coconut Confidant, Prosperous Pineapple and the Orange Opulence—a pretty festive bunch if you ask us!
