Long, uncut noodles represent a wish for longevity in life

THIRD COURSE
The Chinese word for fish, ‘yu,’ sounds like ‘riches’ or ‘abundance.’ Whole fish is traditionally served for the New Year. Char Siu Pork is one of Ling’s favorite childhood dishes that she prepares every year for the celebration.
