Valentine’s Day is a popular holiday for many, it’s a day to honor loved ones whether sweethearts, friends, spouse, significant others, teachers, parents, children or anyone close special in life.
In the 19th Century, the very first Valentine’s Card was made with paper lace by Esther Howland of Massachusetts and soon after became a long standing tradition, changing every year as the years passed.
Still today, thoughtful cards, roses and chocolate are among the most popular gifts to give on Valentine’s Day, along with flowers and jewelry. It’s also common in many schools for students to exchange cute cards and trinkets with friends and adorn favorite teachers with chocolate and flowers by admiring students.
No matter who that special someone is in your life, a sweet hand written card along with a Ling & Louie’s gift card is always a kind gesture without all the sugar!
Celebrate with Ling & Louie’s
Ling and Louie’s love story is what makes our restaurant so special. Ling and Louie met by chance when they were young and through fate, met again as adults and fell in love. Their love for each other and for food led them to open a restaurant together. We now share that same love with you.
We’re celebrating this Valentine’s Day at Ling & Louie’s two ways:
